A social-first campaign teasing and launching BMW’s futuristic concept motorcycle.
THE ZOOMABLE TEASER
The campaign kicked off with a mysterious social video. At first glance, it appeared as just another piece of Instagram content. But as users zoomed in, a hidden Facebook Livestream date was revealed. As more and more fans discovered the hidden date, they began sharing it organically.
THE INTERACTIVE POST
The day before the Facebook Live reveal, we kept fans engaged by creating an interactive post that took people back in time, letting them discover the history of BMW Motorrad before we revealed it’s future.
THE FACEBOOK LIVE REVEAL
The reveal took the form of an epic Facebook Live stream.
THE POST-LAUNCH SITE
After the launch, we built a site where fans could explore the bike and all its technology in rich detail.
PYRAT RUM: STEAL THIS RUM
Unlike other rum brands, Pyrat doesn’t actually make their own rum. They take other blends and bottle it. We thought this was a form of “stealing”. So to turn a brand negative into a positive, we asked our Instagram followers to do the same thing we do everyday: steal rum.
